A veteran with his grandchildren. During the ANZAC Day celebrations, families of service members are invited to attend the parade. They can even wear the family medals on their right lapel.
He was a soldier for his country, many years ago. He still marches, but with pain and difficulty. He carries a cane by his side instead of a sword. Yet, he holds his country's flag as proud and as strong as the days of his youth. He is an Austrialian Veteran on ANZAC Day.
"Where Patriotism Begins......" This is a common sight on ANZAC Day. The old and young march with pride for their country.
