Our Visit Back to the USA

As many of you already know, Rob, Holton and I took a trip back to the States last month. The situation was not joyous though. I lost my oldest step-sister to cancer and we were trying to get back in time for me to tell her good bye. I did speak to her from several airports but did not make it back in time. I did, however, make it in time to attend her beautiful memorial service and in time to be with my family. It was a very stressful and difficult time for me. Robert was by my side every minute of everyday. He supported me and made this trip possible. Holton was as loving and helpful as a 12 year old could be. We all said good bye to my sister, Brenda, and we supported each other through the roller coaster of emotions that followed.
Afterwards, we spent time with our remaining family. We laughed and loved. We were pulled together through tragety but made the most of the opportunity to be together. We had dinners, went to church together and took lots of pictures. We had several stressful events after the funeral, but supported each other through them too. We are closer as a family now, more than we have ever been. We are very fortunate for each other and this time together.
Enjoy our story and our pictures, as always, and know how much we cherish and love all of you who were there for us and spent some of your precious time with us. We love you all.....God Bless.
